Accident/Incident Data This connects the pilot to several government databases such:

United States The purpose of this website is to provide the public with access to several of the principal aviation safety data and information sources the Federal Government uses for various purposes. A phased approach is being followed in constructing this website. Additional capabilities will be available as the site evolves.

United Kingdom AIR ACCIDENT INVESTIGATION BRANCH
These reports contain facts which have been determined up to the time of publication. This information is published to inform the aviation industry and the public of the general circumstances of accidents and serious incidents.

Extracts can be published without specific permission providing the source is duly acknowledged.

Unless otherwise indicated, recommendations in these reports are addressed to the regulatory authorities of the State having responsibility for the matters with which the recommendation is concerned. It is for those authorities to decide what action is taken. In the United Kingdom the responsibile authority is the Civil Aviation Authority, CAA House, 45-59 Kinsway, London WC2B 6TE.

Canada TSB

To establish the classes of transportation occurrences to be investigated (pursuant to Section 8(1)(b) of the CTAISB Act) and to set the criteria for investigations within each class.

Austrailia Bureau of Air Safety Investigation

The Bureau is responsible for the investigation of accidents and incidents involving civil aircraft operations in Australia and its Territories. BASI also has an important role in accident prevention by investigating safety issues before they become significant factors in accidents.

ASRS Data Base Reports This site writes monthly reports on relevant aviation topic. These reports use information from pilots NASA forms that have been sterilized to raise the awareness of pilots. To get on this site you must be a registered pilot and fill out the survey listed. ( See Services )

Federal Air Surgeon's Medical Bulletin Index The Federal Air Surgeon's Medical Bulletin is published quarterly by the FAA Office of Aviation Medicine. It is published for the use of FAA Aviation Medical Examiners and others interested in aviation safety and aviation medicine. The Bulletin is prepared by the FAA's Civil Aeromedical Institute, with policy guidance and support from the Office of Aviation Medicine.

Weather It will transport the user to the best web sites for Hourly Weather, Terminal Forecast, Area Forecast, Radar Summaries, Airmets, and Sigmets. Also the user will find International Sigmets, Aviation Significant Weather Prognosis, Convective Sigmets, International Aviation Significant Weather Prognosis, and my favorite the Cam Site. The Cam Site is a " seeing is believing site" showing a camera shot of the requested city. This site is usually updated every hour and many give multiple views of the city.

Airbus Ease of Flight Review the full report of how the pilots of United Airlines rate the Airbus 320 as compaired to other aircraft in their fleet. It includes ratings of the throttles, side stick control, flight control envolope, and flight management system. This not only includes the executive summary, but details of what the numbers mean.

ATC Operational Display Prototype Here is where you will see the next generation of Air Traffic Control Equipment Currently being designed in Europe. You will also be able to give the designers your remarks.

Terrain Radar This site has presentations of AlliedSignal's Enhanced ground proximity warning system. It also contains comments by pilots, most who will be using the equipment as well as those who are already using it.

Employee View Dedicated to publication by aviation work groups. They include the ALPA Webster and all the airline ALPA sites. These sites include Business Express, Delta Airlines and its LEC webs from New York and Los Angeles, and Hawaiian Airlines. Also the Northwest and TWA links can be found here. Besides ALPA sites, there is the APA site which represent the American Airline Pilots, and the IPA site that represent the UPS pilots.
