Service Difficulty Reports SDRs Service Difficulty Reports lists the mandatory reports required to be submitted to the FAA when certain operational or maintenance problems occur in the field. The reports are archived here.

United Kingdom AIR ACCIDENT INVESTIGATION BRANCH
These reports contain facts which have been determined up to the time of publication. This information is published to inform the aviation industry and the public of the general circumstances of accidents and serious incidents.

Unless otherwise indicated, recommendations in these reports are addressed to the regulatory authorities of the State having responsibility for the matters with which the recommendation is concerned. It is for those authorities to decide what action is taken. In the United Kingdom the responsible authority is the Civil Aviation Authority, CAA House, 45-59 Kinsway, London WC2B 6TE.

Canada Transportation Safety Bureau

This site covers all transportation data bases within Canada.The purpose of this database is to establish the classes of transportation occurrences to be investigated (pursuant to Section 8(1)(b) of the CTAISB Act) and to set the criteria for investigations within each class.

Australia Bureau of Air Safety Investigation

The Bureau is responsible for the investigation of accidents and incidents involving civil aircraft operations in Australia and its Territories. BASI also has an important role in accident prevention by investigating safety issues before they become significant factors in accidents.

Our Mission

Our mission to disseminate information between the users and designers of aviation systems for the purpose of improving the safety and efficiency of the air transportation industry. By doing so, our site hopes to allow the two groups a way to communicate and design a better and safer aviation system. As an added benefit, designers will be able to get operational input so as to create aviation equipment and procedures that require less re-engineering for unforeseen problems. This means  less assets wasted and more and safer aviation systems.

To do so, we use the power of the internet and its unique tools. First are the links to needed information found on the web. These include Aviation Regulations from around the world, aviation medical information, help forms for aviation safety documentation, and other needed information.

There are also discussion groups and e-mail notification of government warnings through our sister site, Aero Information Magazine . The Discussion groups cover safety issues which are current hot topics. This site also allows for visitors to supply their e-mail addresses to obtain NASA, NTSB and FAA Safety Warnings.
